UPSC Civil Services Exam 2016- Online Application for 1079 posts-
The Union Public Service Commission has been released a notification for Civil Services Exam 2016. As per official notification total 1079 posts divided as their different posts Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Forest Service (IFS), Group A & B Officers etc. The Commission has also announced important dates like online application dates, fees payment dates, Prelims Exam dates. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through online from 27th April 2016 to 27th May 2016. Eligibility Criteria for IAS Prelims Exam 2016:
Age Limit: Candidates must be minimum 21 years & maximum 32 year as on 01st August 2016. Age relaxation is applicable as central govt rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University Under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.
Application Fee: Candidates need to pay Rs. 100/- either by depositing the money in any branch of SBI by cash/using net banking facility of State Bank of India/ State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/ State Bank of Hyderabad/ State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala/ State Bank of Travancore or by using any Visa/ Master Credit/ Debit Card. No fee for Female/ SC/ ST/ PH candidates.
Selection Process: Candidate's Selection will be based on performance in written exam and personal interview.
